The cost of generous compensations

A radiology center works 313 days a year and does 30 scans a day each costing Rs 800 if the doctor does not take any leave besides the Sundays. This gives a gross income of 75,12,000 per year to the center. After expenses, loan repayments even if we assume the centre earns 1/3 rd of this amount it comes to approximately 25 lacs. If the doctor takes a loan @ 10% to pay this compensation of 1.25 crores the monthly installment over a period of 8 years would be 2,34,375. His current earning of 2.1 lacs per month will not cover this installment. If he wishes to maintain his income (@1/3rd of his previous gross ie 2.1 lacs) he has to earn Rs 4,44,375 per month not accounting for any inflation over next 8 years which means his gross earning per month has to be 10,68,375 pm. At 30 scans per day for 26 days a month each scan will cost 1370 Rs approx. This Rs 570 per scan increase in cost of each scan.
And then we cry hoarse that cost of healthcare is rising.
